The Wakasa Japanese tavern is found in the heart of the popular neighborhood of Gracia. The restaurant is run by the Japanese marriage Natsu and Taca and it offers classic Japanese food elaborated with care and affection.
It’s a small restaurant with just five tables. Because of its popularity, it’s recommended that you make reservations days in advance.
A very simple venue with friendly service by the owners, they make authentic dishes like the lotus flower root, toro, salmon or scallop nigiris, shrimp, toro and ikuro tartare and its famous sushi; which some consider the best in Barcelona.
Closed Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
